Craddock, Jock
Jock is a litigator with a background in commercial law. He handles a wide variety of disputes including commercial and personal, at all court levels in British Columbia. Jock’s experience includes trials, commercial arbitrations and mediations. His clients range from Canada wide corporations to individuals. He is experienced in construction and commercial disputes, family law and estate litigation. His practice also includes ICBC claims and employment law.
Jock attended Queen’s University before going to St. Andrews University in Scotland on a McEwen Scholarship in 1977. He graduated with an M.A. in 1980 and played rugby for the university. Jock completed his law degree at the University of British Columbia in 1983.
Jock began his practice in Vancouver in 1984. He then practiced commercial and construction litigation in London, England from 1987 until 1992, when he returned to Vancouver. In 1996, he joined our team of Kelowna lawyers, becoming a partner 2 years later.
Jock brings a balanced view to his cases. His approach combines getting the best result for his clients with cost-effectiveness.
Jock is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia and the Law Society of England and Wales. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, subsections in civil litigation, construction law and family law. He is also a member of the BC Trial Lawyers Association and the BC Expropriation Association.
Outside of the office, Jock is actively involved in several organizations, serving our community. He enjoys spending time with his wife, son and daughter. When not participating in his children’s activities, he enjoys skiing and golf.
