Meyer, Leighton
Leighton is a new member to the firm’s Litigation Department. Leighton was admitted to the British Columbia Bar in May 2004. He received a Bachelor of Arts with a major in History in 1993 and an additional major in Political Science from the University of Lethbridge in 1999. Leighton then attended at the University of Calgary and obtained a Bachelor of Laws Degree in 2003.
Leighton brings a wide range of experience from his previous business experience as an entrepreneur in the Construction and Insurance industries. This experience has been asset to his practice providing clarity with respect to the legal issues faced by individuals conducting business in these areas.
Leighton is able to bring a considerable amount of financial experience to his clientele from his previous career as a financial advisor. With this experience Leighton is able to provide essential information to individuals who require comprehensive Estate Planning guidance.
Leighton’s community involvement has also been extensive, spending 6 years working with mentally disabled individuals suffering from Fetal Alcohol Syndrome.
