Ross, Murray
Murray comes to Doak Shirreff from a major Fraser Valley law firm as a new member to the Litigation Department.
He was admitted to the Bar of British Columbia in May 2005. Before receiving his Bachelor of Laws in 2004 at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Murray received his Bachelor of Arts in French language and linguistics in 1999 and Bachelor of Education in French in 2000, both at the University of British Columbia.
He is a member of the Centre Culturel Francais de l'Okanagan. While at Law School, Murray ran the wine tasting club, Vin Ordinaire and volunteered with Student Legal Services of Edmonton, both as a civil day leader and a criminal shift volunteer. Before attending law school, he taught in the Surrey School District and is still a member of the BC College of teachers.
Kelowna lawyer Murray Ross enjoys outdoor sports, including golf, hockey and skiing. When not keeping busy at work or enjoying one of his hobbies, Murray prefers to spend his free time with his wife, having just been recently married.
